Universities Act provides good basis for developing Aalto University
On June 16th 2009 the Parliament approved the new Universities Act, which significantly enhances the development opportunities of research, teaching and artistic endeavors.

Aalto University to enhance mobility and increase exercise
Mobility between the three units of the new Aalto University must be easy, provided that this is reasonable and useful for students. This is the opinion of the task force considering synergies within the Teaching Theme Group. This autumn, a dozen courses will be offered by each unit that are recommended for the students of the other two university units.
